DP008 -TMM Workshop

The mine is seeking a service provider to construct a Trackless Mining Machinery workshop with all the requisite accessories. This is to provide a central facility for conducting the servicing and maintenance functions of the planned TMM fleet.

High-Level Requirements

The facility is designed to provide toilets, office spaces and a storage area for stocks of equipment and lubricants. The structure will comprise steel columns with brickwork walling and roller shutter doors. The structure is designed to support a gantry crane with a nominal 10ton lifting capacity that traverses the full length of the workshop. One area will be allocated to provide for a battery bay. The servicing bays will have a set of rotating cantilever-type jib hoists with a nominal 1.5ton load. The floor shall support the largest TMM machine. Lighting shall be provided for the workshop, the inspection workbench areas, for outside areas and building corners.

DP012 – Oil Store

The mine is seeking a service provider for the construction of an Oil store with all the requisite accessories.

High-Level Requirements

Construction of an oil storage facility to receive and store several types and grades of oils required for servicing and maintaining the planned TMM fleet. Various types of oil will be stored, including engine oil, transmission oil, and others. The general floor area would serve as a sump arrangement for spillage containment. The store will be fitted with flameproof, intrinsically safe light fittings and switches. It will incorporate a set of double leaf doors for truck deliveries and a smaller access door for trolley deliveries and collections. It will have a cantilever crane arrangement suitably mounted within the store. The floor of this facility shall be designed to withstand a minimum load as per the Engineer’s design and include a reinforced concrete floor.
